The Signal is a unique sci-fi / horror / thriller told from the perspective of three visionary directors. Chock full of the requisite gore, the film also comes stocked with the relief of tongue-in-cheek laughs and a sub-textual message about our society's over-reliance on communication devices rather than our own senses.
We find ourselves in the city of Terminus on New Year's Eve and chaos is this year's resolution. All forms of communication have been jammed by an enigmatic transmission that preys on fear and desire - driving everyone in the city to murder and madness. In a place once marked by conformity, but now sent into complete anarchy, the rebellious Ben must save the woman he loves from the bedlam in the streets as well as her crazed sadistic husband. Unfortunately, the only way he can tell who to trust is by uncovering the true nature of The Signal.
