Thursday, April 07 NIGHT STARTS AT 10:35 AM
Ibiza in the mid 90's--a whirling dervish of constant raves, sex and drugs, all pulsing to the beats of legendary DJ Frankie Wilde. An iconoclast whose music begat today's essential mash-ups. Wilde was the poster boy of the club-kid lifestyle. But in a twist of cruel irony, the years of pounding music and heavy drugging take their toll, leaving Frankie deaf. His fans, record deal, manager and trophy wife soon disappear and Wilde isolates himself under a pile of self-pity and a mountain of drugs. After reaching rock bottom, Frankie must face his inner demons and attempt to pull himself back up. A cheeky insider's look at the club and rave culture, "It's all Gone Pete Tong," won the Award for Best Canadian Feature at the Toronto Film Festival and Best Feature Film at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.
