Four Eyed Monsters

FEATURE FILM

Four Eyed Monsters

DIRECTED BY: Susan Buice & Arin Crumley
CAST: Susan Buice, Arin Crumley

The big city: You're surrounded by millions of people, but only a tiny fraction of them are actually your friends. You need companionship, and in this day and age, the melting pot for companionship is the Internet. Arin is a girl-shy wedding videographer who'd rather spend his time making art than chasing women. Susan is a waitress at a trendy restaurant, who, after long hours dealing with obnoxious customers, is too exhausted to date. The two join Meetster.com in the hopes of finding romance, and, coincidentally, find each other. Scared to death of becoming a couple that passes time with meaningless conversations, Arin presents Susan with the idea of using a notepad to convey conversation and feelings. He believes this will alleviate the fears he has of entering a mundane relationship, but in a sense, he's merely treating their relationship as if it was still confined to the Internet. Laced with deadpan humor, Four Eyed Monsters, is a tale of a romance in the 21st Century.
