That New Car Smell...
There were two fun activities last night at The Ravenswood Billboard factory. Metromix offered to take prom pictures of boys and girls, and supplied the flood lighting plus tiaras and crowns. Since my own prom found me standing on the wall like poindexter (over a decade ago) and "Bart Got a Room" filled me with loads of senior-year like longing, I decided to make up for lost time last night. I found a cute wallflower and asked if she'd take a prom picture with me and, dear reader, she said yes! We're both going to be checking the metromix Web site later on today, maybe there'll be a spark of young love. Maybe she'll shoot me an email...
Then someone approached me and asked, "How would you like to sit in a luxury car and be in the running to win a $250 gift certificate to the spot of tomorrow night's party, Zed451?" What was I going to say, no? My favorite thing to do is sit in luxury cars, and my second favorite thing to do is win $250 gift certificates! The new car smell in this Acura was something even newer than normal, something like new car smell, plus kiwis. But that could have been someone's perfume. Either way, I was inundated in goodness.
