Sol Tryon began his film career at the International Film and Television Workshops in Maine. Upon graduating he moved to New York City where he quickly worked his way through the production ranks on numerous features and TV shows. Along with partners Darren Goldberg and Theo Sena, Sol started Fusion Films LLC in 2000, and under Fusion, he produced, shot and edited a documentary series about low-income neighborhoods in the South Bronx and Harlem. In 2002, he joined Ben Rekhi and Adam Bhala Lough as a partner in Drops Entertainment and produced his first feature film, "Bomb The System," which earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination
