After graduating with honors from Stanford University in 1994, Geoffrey Haley relocated to Los Angeles where he has worked closely with established directors like Steven Soderbergh, Sam Mendes and Clint Eastwood. In 1999, Geoffrey's haunting footage of a floating plastic bag was praised as an iconic shot in that year's Academy Award-wining film, "American Beauty"; Alan Ball subsequently hired Haley as a camera operator on Six Feet Under. His debut short, "The Parlor," which played the 2002 Gen Art Film Festival and won awards at Sundance and other festivals around the world, is one of the most downloaded short films of the past decade. "The Last Word," which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, is his first feature.
