David is from Houston, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991. He received his JD from Texas Tech University, School of Law in 1996. For the following ten years David practiced law in Dallas and Houston. During the final year of his legal career, he wrote the script for COOK COUNTY and soon after quit the practice of law. COOK COUNTY is David's first venture into the world of film-making.

If we made a movie out of your life so far, what would the title be?
"Late Bloomer"

You wake up tomorrow and movies no longer exist. What would we find you doing professionally?
I'd sell shoes or something.

If you could have a drink with any character from a movie who would it be and why?
I'd want to meet God from "Oh God!" - because He'd have all the answers.

What happened to advance your film from an idea on the page into a reality?
I got good actors interested in film.
